Graduate Student Therapist Training
Mango Tree Counseling & Consulting (MTCC) focuses on developing the talent of AANHPI healers and mental health providers. At MTCC, we provide a limited number of internship opportunities to 2nd-year master’s level students in social work, psychology, marriage, family therapy, and counseling. Clinical Internships are for a minimum of 2 semesters.
The MTCC Internship program provides graduate students an opportunity to develop skills in psycho-social-assessment, intakes, counseling, program development, group programming, and developing skills in consultation and initiating community programming.
Students receive individual supervision from our lead clinician and training opportunities and are encouraged to participate in community programming.
Clinical Licensing Hours
We offer clinical supervision for folx interested in pursuing their clinical license, specifically with LCSWs, LPCs, and LMFTs. Clinical supervision is grounded in healing-centered engagement and focuses on intersubjectivity, relational approaches towards healing, use of self, and acceptance and commitment therapeutic approaches.
Community Educational Seminars
MTCC therapists facilitate workshops on the intersections of mental wellness and AAPI identity each month. These workshops can be found on our youtube channel: Mango Tree’s Youtube Page.
