DESCRIPTION:SMART Recovery at Mango Tree is a skills-based\, evidence-informed recovery support group for people seeking to make wiser\, healthier choices around substances\, compulsive behaviors\, or patterns that no longer serve them. \nThis open group integrates SMART Recovery principles\, CBT\, and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) within a community-centered\, culturally responsive space. We focus on building motivation\, managing urges\, working with thoughts and emotions\, and aligning daily actions with personal values — without shame\, labels\, or pressure. \nThis group is especially welcoming to BIPOC\, LGBTQ+ individuals\, and allies\, and honors how culture\, identity\, stress\, and systems shape recovery.
