Diane Yu, MSW (C) (They/Them)

Graduate Level Intern

MSW Candidate

I'm a student at the University of Pennsylvania, completing my Master's in Social Work. Before this, I obtained my undergraduate degree in psychology and linguistics while volunteering with the non-profit hEARt Listens to provide anonymous peer support to other college students through a text-based helpline. During that time, I developed my interest in the mental health of AAPI individuals. I chose to pursue social work to help others--whether through therapy, mental health advocacy, or challenging systemic inequalities.

As a queer, second-generation Chinese American, it's important to me to recognize the diversity of experiences, identities and needs that the AAPI community has. Each person's journey is different, and I'd be honored to help you as you travel yours.
