What does a recovery space look like when people can bring their whole selves into it?

In a new article for Out In Jersey, Mango Tree founder Noel Ramirez reflects on New Jersey’s first LGBTQ+ recovery conference, WEAVE. The gathering brought together people with lived experience, peer recovery specialists, clinicians, advocates, and community organizations to explore how identity, culture, belonging, and access shape recovery.

Noel also shares insights from his workshop on queer men’s nervous systems, intimacy, sexuality, and recovery. The piece asks how we can keep building recovery spaces that listen to lived experience and make room for more ways of healing.
