About Me:
I am a Vietnam native and came to South Jersey as a young child. Who I am as a person and a therapist are shaped by the gray areas of being Asian-American, as well as how I came to learn the fullness of my own identities and love those of others. My experience as a mental health practitioner is in support of families and elders dealing with difficult life changes, uncertainty, grief, years of hurt, and barriers outside of their control. Before my graduate studies, my work centered the potential and wellbeing of children of color through public education. I channel all of this into a therapeutic approach that holds people of color and immigrants across all ages through anxiety, pressure, loss, major transitions, identity exploration, and tension with the people they care about. I deeply believe in every person's ability to change, their right to expression, and their capacity for love. This belief guides a style that starts with clients' hopes and values, and grows through practice and relationships. In between, I am here for the laughs, stories, and questions to make sense of it all.
