About Me

Hi! My name is Stephanie. I'm a second-generation Taiwanese American who relocated from Seattle to Philadelphia. I recently earned my master's degree in Community and Trauma Counseling from Thomas Jefferson University.

To me, therapy is a space to come back home to yourself. Whether it's your first time in therapy or you're returning, I hope to create a place for you to experience it all. Some sessions may look like talking through your deepest desires; others may bring tears, or simply space to bounce around ideas. My goal is to hold space for you, from joy to grief and everything in between, so you feel comfortable enough to experience it.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in decolonizing therapy through anti-racist and anti-capitalist principles, recognizing how each person's story is woven into a larger history of intergenerational trauma. I believe therapy can be a transformative space to examine how that history, societal conditioning, and personal experience shape our relationships with ourselves and others. Working from a place of compassion and humility, I seek to help clients deepen their relationship with themselves through an integrative approach, build skills for emotional resilience and self-awareness, and find the tenacity to empower their inner strength. Above all, I want to create a safe, grounding, and supportive environment where you can explore your identity with vulnerability and honesty.

A few fun facts about me: I have a fluffy corgi named Bumi, I'm a big fan of disco and house music, I love exploring nature, and I'm always up for a game of cribbage. I hope to meet you virtually or in person soon!
