Recurring every 2nd Sunday of the month

Virtual via Zoom | Registration is required | Insurance & Self Pay Options Available
A psychotherapy group for individuals seeking to better understand and heal their relationship with body image and food. Grounded in culturally informed and trauma-responsive practice, this group explores how family messages, cultural expectations, and lived experiences shape patterns such as restriction, overeating, shame, and self-criticism. Participants learn to recognize emotional and behavioral cycles, develop more compassionate internal narratives, and build sustainable, intuitive practices for nourishment and body connection.
This month we are covering the topic of Sex and Desire. A psychotherapy group focused on healing and expanding one’s relationship with desire, intimacy, and erotic selfhood. This group explores sexuality through a culturally informed, trauma-responsive lens, including patterns such as compulsive sexual behavior, sexual avoidance or anorexia, fetish, and the pursuit of intensity over intimacy. Participants examine the roots of their erotic templates, deconstruct shame, and develop greater capacity for healthy, connected, and values-aligned sexual expression.

SMART Recovery for BIPOC Individuals
Every Tuesday at 8:30 PM EST via Zoom
Open to everyone - Support for BIPOC individuals
Free & Virtual | Registration is required
SMART Recovery at Mango Tree is a skills-based, evidence-informed recovery support group for people seeking to make wiser, healthier choices around substances, compulsive behaviors, or patterns that no longer serve them.
This open group integrates SMART Recovery principles, CBT, and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) within a community-centered, culturally responsive space. We focus on building motivation, managing urges, working with thoughts and emotions, and aligning daily actions with personal values — without shame, labels, or pressure.
This group is especially welcoming to BIPOC, LGBTQ+ individuals, and allies, and honors how culture, identity, stress, and systems shape recovery. You do not need to be “perfect” or abstinent to attend — just curious, willing, and open to learning tools that support change.
This is not group therapy. It is a structured recovery support space grounded in choice, self-efficacy, and mutual respect.
