Dr. Noel Ramirez is the founder of Mango Tree Counseling & Consulting, an Asian-American mental health group practice that provides culturally responsive care to Asian-American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities. For over 15 years, Dr. Ramirez has been a practicing social worker in Philadelphia, focusing on the intersection of public health, social work, identity, and community empowerment. His work is particularly dedicated to the communities he is deeply connected with, including LGBTQIA, HIV/AIDS, addiction/recovery, and AANHPI populations.
In addition to his leadership at Mango Tree Counseling, Dr. Ramirez serves as a senior lecturer at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Social Work, where he continues to inspire future social workers to advocate for equitable and compassionate mental health care. His educational background includes graduate degrees in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, Public Health from Drexel University, and a Doctorate in Behavioral Health from Arizona State University. |
