About Me:
I am a Korean American counselor who received my graduate training in counseling from the University of Pennsylvania. My cultural identity and experiences navigating US and South Korean Identities motivate me to pursue this work. Witnessing peers struggling with identity ignited a passion for me.
I believe in the power of acceptance of all feelings and navigating agency and resilience. My goal with clients is to develop a deeper understanding of navigating our identities and accepting and holding our feelings. A core element of my practice is centering and honoring the human experience of this work, making contact with the connection in psychotherapy, and reinforcing that you are not alone in navigating mental wellness and identity.
